Key Highlights:
Urban mobility platform Cityflo has announced a new partnership with Signpost India to manage advertising on its growing fleet of buses. This strategic move will allow brands to advertise directly to working professionals who regularly use Cityflo’s services for their daily commute across key metro cities in India.
The advertising rollout will cover Cityflo’s bus operations in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, and other select metropolitan regions. Through this partnership, Signpost India will handle all aspects of the advertising business, including creative execution and campaign management.
Commuter-Focused Advertising Formats
Under the agreement, Signpost India will implement a mix of advertising formats. These will include full exterior bus wraps as well as digital and static in-bus displays designed to catch the attention of seated passengers during transit. By leveraging Cityflo’s scheduled routes that cover both business and residential hubs, brands are expected to benefit from regular and focused visibility, especially during peak traffic hours.
Cityflo’s target audience primarily consists of corporate employees and professionals who rely on the platform for reliable and comfortable travel between work and home. The advertising campaigns will therefore aim to appeal directly to this urban, working demographic.
Campaigns Already Underway
Several well-known brands have already taken advantage of the new advertising platform. Companies like Flipkart, Parle Agro, Mirae Asset, and SBI have launched campaigns that are currently visible across Cityflo’s buses in Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
These brands are using the platform to reach a consistent and niche audience during their everyday travel, giving campaigns the kind of repeated exposure that’s often difficult to achieve through traditional billboards or digital advertising alone.
Leadership insights:
Jerin Venad, Co-founder and CEO of Cityflo, expressed confidence in Signpost India’s capabilities, stating that the company was selected for its expertise in building advertising solutions tailored to specific commuter segments.
Royston D'Almeida, Vice President of Enterprise at Signpost India, described the collaboration as an effective way to engage with working professionals through what he called "intelligent transit advertising." He noted that transit media continues to grow as an impactful medium, especially in cities where daily travel consumes a significant portion of the day.
About Cityflo
For Cityflo, this venture represents more than just an advertising opportunity. It marks a shift toward diversifying its revenue streams while still focusing on providing premium urban transport services. With rising operating costs in the transportation sector, the addition of advertising income offers a sustainable way to support expansion.
The company also plans to expand its services by launching additional routes in its current cities. This will further enhance exposure opportunities for advertisers while giving commuters more travel options.

Signpost India is a recognized name in the media and advertising tech sector. The company was listed among the top 1,000 performing firms on the Bombay Stock Exchange in 2024.
